About 40,000 pictures were taken in the course of the Championships by the photographers of the getphoto.cz group who worked for the FIS WSC Liberec 2009 website. Only part of the pictures was selected, edited and published on the website. These were mainly pictures featuring sport contests and the atmosphere at the Championships. This picture gallery offers you some views taken from among the spectators and some taken behind the scenes.  They also show the boss of the group, Martin Sidorjak. By the way, he had prepared that calendar that was on offer during the Championships.

The Tipsport Arena became the base for the organizers of the Nordic World Ski Championships for several weeks. It housed the accreditation-issuing group, the Race Office including the meeting room for the Team Captains´ Meetings; the Transport and Volunteer Sections had their offices there, and the editorial staff of this website also worked there. “We have acquired an interesting know-how as to the possible ways we can use the arena to organize other events too,” admitted managers of the premises.
